What Is Archery Tag?

Archery Tag is a fast-paced team combat game played with bows and foam-tipped arrows. Think dodgeball, but with bows. Players dodge incoming arrows, catch them for bonus points, and tag opposing players to eliminate them. It is safe, high-energy and incredibly fun.

At our Kent woodland site, we run Archery Tag in a natural arena that adds cover, obstacles and tactical depth. We start with basic archery instruction (so even complete beginners can play), then move into game modes including team elimination, capture the flag and last-player-standing.

Why Play Archery Tag in Kent?

Archery Tag in a woodland setting is a completely different experience to playing in a sports hall. The natural terrain provides cover, tactical opportunities and a truly immersive battle environment. Our Kent site at Cudham Shaws offers the perfect outdoor combat arena.

Archery Tag is one of our most popular corporate and group activities. It is accessible to everyone (no archery experience needed), high-energy, and creates instant team bonding through shared adrenaline and laughter. It is also a genuinely good workout.

Outdoor Team Building in Kent

Archery Tag is not just a standalone skill - it is one of the most effective team building activities we run at our Kent woodland. When a group works together to achieve a shared outdoor goal, barriers come down fast. People who have never met are suddenly communicating, problem-solving and supporting each other in ways that simply do not happen in an office or conference room.

The real magic happens when you combine activities. Imagine your team mastering fire lighting in the morning, building shelters after lunch, then gathering around a campfire to cook dinner together. That is a full day of shared achievement that bonds a group like nothing else. We can build a bespoke programme that weaves multiple activities into one epic woodland experience tailored to your team, your goals and your budget.

A wonderful day getting back to nature, having fun and learning new skills. I brought my 9 year old and even though she was the only child the whole group was so welcoming to her and we both had a blast! We'll definitely go again.

What a day! I can't recommend this event enough. We had 6h of back to back activities and every single one was exemplary. James and his team are so down to earth, knowledgeable and fun. My abs hurt from laughing for 6h straight! I honestly cannot recommend this enough, incredible value and a day I will remember forever! Do yourself a favour and book!!!

Awesome atmosphere, great escape from day to day challenges. Instructors are well educated in many fields of life, literally knowledgeable about everything you could possibly think of asking. Most important it's great fun and you really feel like a member of great family, couldn't recommend that more to everyone who is looking to spark their life with new adventures. Best of all you can bring your kids with you as well, what a great opportunity for me and my son to spend a great quality time together! I look forward to next event!

Archery Tag FAQs

No. Archery Tag arrows have large foam tips, similar to being hit with a foam dodgeball. It is designed to be safe and painless. Players wear protective face masks, and the bows are specially designed with lower draw weight for safe close-range play.
None at all. We start every session with a basic archery instruction so everyone can shoot safely and accurately enough to play. Archery Tag is designed for beginners - the foam arrows are large and forgiving, making it easy to hit targets.
Wear comfortable sportswear you can move and run in, including closed-toe shoes. You will be dodging, running and crouching, so avoid restrictive clothing. We provide all safety equipment including face masks and arm guards.
Archery Tag is suitable for children aged 10 and above. The bows are light enough for younger players, and we adapt game modes for family groups. For younger children, we recommend our standard archery sessions instead.
We can run Archery Tag games for groups of 6 to 30+ players. For larger groups, we run rotating games so everyone gets plenty of playing time. It is one of our most popular corporate team building activities.
